Perhaps there is any harm coming from 5g?

5G cell towers are a new kind of antenna that's being used by wireless companies to provide internet service. They're more capable than 4g towers, and are larger and more powerful.

Cities are increasingly worried that these towers may harm their residents. This includes health, privacy and aesthetic concerns.
They're Bigger

With 5G, the speed of radio signals is higher than 4G. This means that it requires more towers in order to transmit information. This will increase the amount radiation that can be emitted to our surroundings.

This is a huge concern for HOA communities and real property investors, and others concerned about adverse health effects. They worry that adding more 5g towers will lower the value of properties and adversely impact public health.

The only way to solve this issue is to alter the way we communicate through WiFi instead of conventional cell networks. This isn't going to be a quick process but it will happen eventually.

How can this be achieved? How can we improve the security of our cell towers?  is 5g dangerous  is in the technology of a cell tower called small cells.
They're More Expensive

If you're in the city, you've likely observed large towers of cellular equipment that are atop towers and other structures. These are 4G cell towers and they're used to provide wireless networks to the surrounding areas.

They're usually between 50 and 200 feet high, and they're constructed to blend into the surrounding environment, reducing their aesthetic impact. In comparison to 4G technology, 5G requires greater tower coverage to cover a wider area.

Those dense cell sites can be difficult to maintain since they need to be constantly active and offering speedy speeds. In the end, they're more expensive than other types of towers.

But if you're a tower owner or the operator of a mobile phone network, it makes sense to upgrade your existing towers to 5G to take advantage of new technologies coming to market. The addition of these technologies to existing sites can help increase the site's capabilities and ultimately result in more profits for you.
They're even more deadly
What Makes 5g Towers Bad

One of the main concerns about 5G towers is that they emit more radiation than other types of towers.  is 5g dangerous to humans  is due to the fact that they have to be placed more densely over a large area to guarantee coverage.

The radio frequency waves generated by cell phone towers don't have enough energy to damage DNA directly or to heat body tissues, but they do degrade chemical bonds in DNA, which may damage cells and cause cancer.

The concern is that living near the 5G tower could cause adverse health effects.

That's because these towers have a higher chance be located near schools and homes in areas where they transmit radio frequency waves all the time. They will be closer to you than ever before, and it's more likely that radiation is absorbed by your body.
They're Not Necessary

5G networks depend on the new segment of the radio spectrum that can transmit data- these are referred to as millimeter waves. They're much shorter than conventional radio waves, at just 1-10mm in length, so they are more frequent and can carry more energy.

To provide the high-speed speeds and low latency 5G promises, it's necessary to establish a vast array of mobile towers. This means a lot of cell masts to provide coverage to cities, roads, business districts, colleges, and even farms.

However, there are other alternatives to provide high-speed internet in densely populated areas. One option is to create small cell stations that are dispersed throughout the area to reduce coverage gaps.

The biggest issue is where these small cells will be located and how they'll impact residents. Local governments and residents are working to figure out ways to stop the installation or stop it from happening in their communities.
